Hello and welcome to day 2 of the 3 day quote challenge!
I was tagged by the awe-inspiring Arden @ Phantom Paper. She conveniently happens to have a wonderlicious book blog and you should absolutely pay her a visit.
This is a marvelous challenge in which I get to share some of my favourite quotes over three days and tag fellow bloggers to challenge them do the same.

Quote of the day
This quote is from Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton which is a novel filled with gorgeous quotes. I really like this one because, in a way, I tend to think the same way. I like counting how many days (2740), hours (65,760), minutes (3,945,600), seconds (236,736,000), nanoseconds (2.36736e+17) I have been together with my husband. Just for fun. I happen to find it fascinating. I also like to think how far I would get if all those seconds were actually steps (I could walk 4.14 times around the world). What about if they were baby carrots? In how many days could I eat them all? (I would have to eat 6485 baby carrots a day for a hundred years. Let’s not take the seconds as baby carrots.)
I know I’m weird but think how super cool it is. What’s there not to love about stats.
I also absolutely loved the book.
Quote in text:
“By this point Viviane Lavender had loved Jack Griffith for twelve years, which was far more than half of her life. If she thought of her love as a commodity and were to, say, eat it, it would fill 4,745 cherry pies. If she were to preserve it, she would need 23,725 glass jars and labels and a basement spanning the length of Pinnacle Lane.
If she were to drink it, she’d drown.”
― Leslye Walton, The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender

I would love to read through some quotes you love! But don’t feel forced to do the challenge if you don’t want to 😊
Are you a weird stats-lover like me? What’s your favourite quote?
Thank you so much for reading!

Aww shucks, thank you!! You’re the absolute sweetest, babeeee!
I think I’m in the middle, I stop myself from getting too carried away by stats as it overwhelms me by its magnitude! This quote is brilliantly written, the last line packs a punch. And lollll, yes, let’s not get into what those seconds mean in baby carrots(I don’t love it THAT much to calculate it :P) Now I’m curious as to your 3rd and last quote!
